Grinding

Grinding is an abrasive machining process that can produce very fine finishes and very accurate dimensions.  

 

Atlas utilizes Gantry type belt grinders.  These are designed to follow the contour of the material being processed, allowing for very efficient removal of slag and results in a much higher yield of material for our customers.  

 

Our grinders can accommodate sizes up to 96 inches wide and 720 inches long.
